One of the best experiences I got to have in college was getting to go to Washington D.C. for one of the biggest conventions in the journalists world. I got to listen to reporters from the New York Times, Washington Post and so many more big name newspapers.
It wasn’t just for reporters though. There was different subjects about copy editing, photography and how to market yourself. This was a great way to make connections all over the world.
