A Swiss army knife of a journalist
I have done just about every job at the Torch at one point or another. Working at the Torch gave me a lot of long nights that tested my mental endurance. But it was one of the best parts of college and taught me more things than I ever thought I would need to know.

Lifestyles Reporter
I started from the bottom. Writing stories and taking names. I started in 2018 as a freshman and learned what it took to be a reporter with hard deadlines.
Office Manager
As our advisor said, I was the mom of the Torch, including cleaning up after them. I was in charge of taking notes during meetings, taking attendance, distributing some of the newspapers, keeping track of who did opinions, etc.
Lifestyles Editor
I changed a lot of this section when I came in as the editor. Some of the things were content we wrote about, columns we made ongoing, even the color of the section.
Podcast Manager
We had a podcast before my time called the Torchcast. I revamped it by having a cover made for it, changing the name and making connections with Bulldog Radio to have a real studio to record in.
