A collaboration from writing to podcasting

The Fire Pit was my baby from my time at the Torch. We had podcasting before I started here but it wasn’t very popular and after podcast manager graduated in 2019 it died with him.

In the fall of 2021 we did an article about Bulldog Radio. BDR is a registered student organization on campus that lets students podcast whatever they please, within reason of course.

Lifestyles produced by myself

As the lifestyles editor I get to host the lifestyles podcast. We talk about anything from modern love to fighting about country music. I have enjoyed running this podcast so much and I feel like it has already taught me so much.

News produced by Noah Kurkjian, our News Editor

This podcast is made to give listeners and students a quick rundown of what was going on in the paper that week. I am a frequent guest and love getting to speak about our personal thoughts on whats going on around campus.

Politics produced by Noah Kurkjian, our News Editor

We didn’t originally plan on having this podcast but our Bulldog Radio advisor asked us to host it. Noah gives listeners a very through, and easy to understand run down on everything going on in the world of politics.

Although sports aren’t my thing and this is the only pod I haven’t been on I ma still proud of the sports squad going over everything from Ferris sports to fantasy teams.
